Let’s start with a 15-minute Discovery Call to talk about the kind of images you’re looking for or simply explore what we can create together. Whether you're interested in Fine Art Portraits, Maternity, Glamour, Boudoir, Branding, or Headshots, this call is where we cover all the details. We'll go over what your session fee includes, discuss pricing and packages, and talk through styling options like wardrobe, hair, and makeup. We’ll also explore what types of looks, tones, and backdrops you love. If you’re considering including someone special, like a best friend, daughter, or mother, we’ll go over those options too. Once you book, we’ll schedule a dedicated planning session, either on Zoom or in person at my Pasadena studio, to design every detail of your shoot.
Your day at the studio begins around 11 a.m. You’ll be greeted by your photographer and our all-women hair and makeup team. We’ll review the outfits you’ve brought (planned during your consultation) or select from our curated client wardrobe. While you enjoy light snacks, our artists will style your hair and makeup to match your vision.
Once you’re ready, we’ll move into your photo session. Sessions typically last 60–90 minutes and include up to four outfit changes. With a mix of studio sets (and outdoor options, depending on your session), we’ll guide you through posing and expression so you feel comfortable, confident, and radiant. Many clients are surprised by how natural and enjoyable the experience feels.
About two weeks later, you’ll return for your image reveal. You’ll view a curated gallery of your portraits and select your favorites for purchase as prints, albums, folio boxes, or custom wall art. Once you’ve made your selections and placed your order, we’ll send digital proofs for your review and final retouching notes.
Approved images are then sent to our professional print lab. When your finished artwork arrives, we’ll notify you and schedule pickup at the studio, always a moment of celebration.
